If 81% of ICOs are scams and those that aren’t are caught in the “80% of new businesses fail in first 5 years” law of success, then the NPV (Net Present Value) of any idea which will build on EOS is closer to the dirt than the moon.
Is EOS is different? .
There is a giddiness across the EOS social sphere at the moment about the EOS price and market cap increasing. I admit I did check the price too yesterday when I saw all the posting.
Comments and questions like:
Could there be a flippening? , Are we bigger than XYZ?”
There are GIFs floating around with Ethereum castles crumbling.
This is nonsense.
EOS tokens only currently exist on Ethereum, as does every other token being air-dropped.
We all believe in the potential of this project, we need to deliver.
To take this to the next level, we won’t be competing with any other chain or coin.
We are going to be competing with AWS.
I hung up my cowboy coding boots a while ago, but even now I could stand up and test a new idea on heroku in days (if not hours).
For this to work we need to enable rapid development.
A way for a kid in Mumbai to get from idea to launch quickly, to test her ideas, to keep what works and to scrap what doesn’t. A way for her to build solutions to real problems for her family and her neighbours.
Working on EOS is an investment in our future. Together we can create real value and wealth for our community and innovating and building on top of EOS.
